Saga, 7 and a half, joined at 5
-What do you usually do every day?
Play with my friends or sit in a room with a staff member.
-Why do you sit in a room with a staff member?
Sentence.
-What is a sentence?
It’s something where- I don’t know.
-What’s something you’re working on getting better at?
Completing my sentences.
-What room do you think you spend the most time in?
Basically sitting in the dining room.
-What do you like to do there?
Eat.
-Besides DVS what places do you go to learn things?
I have gymnastics today and I do music class. I do girl scouts and forest school.
-What are the differences between those places and DVS?
I basically don’t know.
-What are the similarities?
Well I learn things a lot. I learn guitar, I learn how nature works, I learn a bunch of things in girls scouts, and it’s cookie season in girl scouts! It’s ending though.
-What’s your favorite thing to learn?
I don’t know, I just like learning stuff. But not stuff I don’t wanna learn.
-What kinds of things do you ask the staff members for?
Mostly [if I need] help with something.
-What kinds of things do you need help with?
I don't know, I need help with a lot of things. Oh yeah, sewing. I’m working on a pokeball stuffed animal.
(Tilly: Pokeballs aren’t stuffed animals, they’re not animals.
Esther: What are pokeballs made of?
Saga: Metal-plastic?
